Phone: Samsung Galaxy Infuse - Android
Firmware: 2.3.3

When starting a Report (service request) my current location is not being picked up automatically. It seems to default to a location near my house. Is there a setting that I need to select for it to "redo" the location search when I am starting a new report?

    Kevin,

There could be a few things that are causing this. When you click on the report button, is there a little compass icon that flashes at the top of the screen? This shows that the gps is working.

Does the gps work well with other apps?

If you could help me with these questions, that will help us figure out what is causing this problem.

-the "satellite" icon doesn't flash when I hit New Report - only after I've clicked on the map inside of the new report.

I've tried with a few other android phones and it seems that if you click on the map that is displayed for the New issue then the flashing blue dot picks up your current location but the crosshairs are not automatically moved. This means that if you hit "Save" without moving the crosshairs the wrong "last known" address is stored.

The crosshairs seem to stay at wherever the last "know address" was ie. from when using the Maps app - which seems to work fine.
