I've just stumbled across this site & I must say I'm terrorized. Anonymous people can take pictures of my property & claim on a whim that my weeds are too long or my front porch isn't pretty? I'm appalled at this vigilante "justice." Anonymity is great -- except when it's used to slander, blackmail, or harrass your neighbors.

I reported a traffic flow issue and offered two possible solutions. Later a sign and re-striping helped direct drivers. I now see fewer drivers trying to exit in the previous dangerous path.
Any tool can be mis-used, but that doesn't mean the tool should be denied everyone.
If I'm not mistaken, these posts are juried.

Good Morning,
Thanks to everyone for your questions and comments. I'll try to address all of the points here.
SeeClickFix is intended to be a way for citizens to publicly document concerns in their community as a way to facilitate dialogue and hold the local government accountable. As such, there is no way to report an issue privately through SeeClickFix. You can change your display name if you do not want others to know that you are the one reporting the issue or making comments. To do this, login to seeclickfix.com, scroll over your name, and select preferences. Your display name can be changed there.
Content that does not comply with SeeClickFix's terms of service will be removed from the site. This includes content that is libelous or abusive in nature. To report content that does not comply with the terms of service, hit 'report abuse' on the issue page. This will bring the content to my attention, as the Community Manager, and I will look into the matter.
Perryite, thank you for your kind words, and I agree with your sentiment about SeeClickFix as a tool. A large part of the success of SeeClickFix in any area will depend upon how it is used by the community there. We're here to support our users, but ultimately it is up to engaged citizens to improve their neighborhoods.
I hope this answers your questions. If you'd like to follow up with me directly, you can reach out to me at [email blocked].
Regards,
Kevin Donohue
