edit posts for a brief grace period after posting?

Hello --

Often my post looks fine as I type it, and when I press Submit, but then it appears
on the SCF site and I immediately notice typos, some of which are substantial
enough to alter meaning (like leaving out a "not" or an "if").

Can you enable editing for original posters or their own posts? If you're uncomfortable
with edits long after the fact, how about enabling them only for some brief grace period,
say 30 minutes, after the OP?

Thanks,

Seth Teller

Argh -- see what I mean, I wrote "or their own posts" instead of "of their own posts."

    Seth,

Thanks for your email. We're currently considering a few options for allowing editing of posts. It's always good to hear from the users about their thoughts, so I really appreciate you passing this along. As we continue to discuss the best way to enable editing features, I'll bring up your point.
