Changing the status of an Issue
To change the status of an issue, simply add a comment with the additional attribute comment[comment_type]. Currently the following actions are possible:
- 'Issue Closed' - Closes the issue.
- 'Issue Reopened' - Reopens the issue.
- 'Issue Acknowledged' - This sets the issue to acknowledged, but requires a "Pro" account. For help with this please contact us at team@seeclickfix.com.
- 'Issue Voted For' - Vote on an issue. ( The comment is not important here. It can be something like "Voted For" )
- 'Watcher Added' - Follow the issue. ( This is the same as adding a comment functionally, but the comment will not show in the comment train and a few other minor differences. )
All of the typical comment restrictions apply, meaning that a comment and email address is required to change the status of an issue. See http://help.seeclickfix.com/faqs/api/adding-a-comment.
